The front page of the BBC's "Doctor Who" website has a big old spoiler for episode seven on it. It's safe to assume that this will be revealed in adverts, previews, etc but just so you're warned: if you don't want to know what is appearing in the mid-season finale, you should probably stay away for a while. And disconnect your internet. And possibly your eyes.
I've drafted a set of community rules, as it was suggested we needed to have clearer policies on spoilers, fanworks, etc. It's largely based on the rules currently on the community user info, only fleshed out a little. Any comments, suggestions for additions or amendments, etc are welcome. When we've come to agreement about a set of rules, I'll put them up on the user info page.
( Under the cut... )Hello and welcome to Moffat Era Who. As you may have noticed, this is a very lo-fi basic community at the moment. After looking at some of the blogs and communities scattered around the web, I thought it might be useful to have a community specifically for fans of the current era of Doctor Who (from 2010 onwards). And as you might have guessed, I haven't had a lot of experience running communities (or to be more accurate, none). So this is definitely a work in progress.
Want to help develop this community? There are various ways you can help:
1. Graphics. As you can see, we're currently using a basic Livejournal layout. Have a few minutes to spare on creating a new one? Go for it.
2. Moderators. Want to volunteer? Any advice to offer? Get in touch.
3. Adverts. You may have noticed this is not a paid account, which means the community still has adverts. If you want to change this, the best way is to use this community. I'm more than happy to upgrade to a paid account if a significant level of interest in this community is shown.
4. Get involved. This is a brand new community. The first members of this community will play a vital role in shaping what it looks like. So post a comment, start a topic, show off your icons and get involved.
