QUESTION #8: WOULD YOU PRESS FORGET OR PROTEST (COME ON...HONESTLY)?

LOL

I think that most of us would press forget under the circumstances. I'm sure 900 other people will hop up and say "I wouldn't," but if your perception is that you're about to kill a large portion of humanity vs an alien being, most of us aren't willing to make that call. I sure as hell am not.

SRS ANSWER IS SRS

Well, I'd like to think I'd protest. A friend once told me I have an overdeveloped sense of justice and I think learning what we'd done to the last of the star whales would really piss me off, not to mention realizing how everyone else was apparently turning a blind eye to it. But - if I was faced with all of that, would I really have the courage to protest? I don't know.

There's probably a *good* chance (as in 10% - 20%) I'd protest but that's because I don't like the thought of people messing with my thoughts/mind/brain. I have a fear of joining groups because of this...

Then again, who's to say there wasn't some sort of subliminal message in that video that predisposed everyone to choose 'forget'. In the episode, it looked like Amy pushed 'forget' without really thinking about it.

I'd like to think I'd protest, but I'm sure if it actually happened I'd choose to forget. It's a big thing to have on your mind!
