Posting this early because I'm going to be out and about later on. Post your reactions to Rory's pants "The Power of Three" here. Spoilers in the comments!

I'm not quite sure how I felt about this episode. It seemed really interesting and exciting in the previews, but personally I found the episode itself maybe a little bit boring. An awful lot of time seemed to go by where nothing much happened. I think it had potential, but I'm fairly indifferent to that episode.

Can't wait until nest weeks though. CAN'T WAIT.

But then it wasn't really about that, it was about Amy and Rory and how the Doctor fits into their lives and vice versa. I wonder if that's why I didn't take to the episode? I'm over Amy and Rory now. A new companion can't come soon enough. And I really hope the new one doesn't get married.

So this is the last episode before Christmas? After which there will be no more Amy and Rory? Do you think they will die/get displaced by Angels/whatever?

Now that you mention it, it was a bit like an RTD episode. The rushed resolution was disappointing.

Actually, I really liked the Brigadier's daughter. (At least I think that's who she was.) I hope we see a lot more of her.

See, I'm pretty damn sure that the plot of this week's episode was just an excuse for the power of three pun, and tbh that helps me forgive its absolute awfulness (the plot, not the pun).

Really it goes to show the dangers of basing an entire episode around a pun. I think if the cubes had been the expression of a deeper plot--rather than the deeper plot an excuse for the cubes--it would've worked a lot better.

I agree that wasn't really the point, but this episode *could have been so much more*. sigh.
.......Though I suppose if it had actually been an invasion it would've been a retread of Army of Ghosts.

I'll be sad to see Amy and Rory go. There was so much more that could have been brought out. That being said, I'm ashamed to say that I zoned out about halfway through this episode. Dare I say that it bored me?

I liked the Brigadier's daughter. But the plot was so shopworn, same-old-same-old. I couldn't drum up any emotion. I didn't feel any tension. And I positively groaned at the last line!

Whereas I thought that last line was one of the few high points of an episode that promised big and failed to deliver.
