Also, do people seriously think Matt Smith can't do serious!? There are so many moments when he's shown he can do it brilliantly! Just because he's fantastic at the light and funny moments doesn't mean he can't do the hard core stuff!

I was going to say 'The Doctor does not use guns', but I went with the online abuse thing instead because that's not okay in a very different and much more serious way than not understanding Doctor Who at all.
'Matt Smith doesn't have the chops to do the serious stuff' is also annoying, but is pretty much an opinion, so.
