I agree with much of your review, but I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the bits other than the morality play, not sure there was much there other than the funny dialogue and the moral questions. Actually felt a bit bored watching it the second time. Perhaps it's because this isn't as densely plotted as recent episodes.
No worries! That seems like a strange choice for LJ to make. But anyway!
I've only watched the episode once, and you may be right. However, I think the simpler plotting made it a stronger episode - the last couple of episodes, while I loved them, didn't really give the big ideas a chance to breathe.
I didn't like that episode much. Some of the dialogue was funny, but that was really all I liked about it. I'm not a big fan of the Wild West for a start so I wasn't thrilled by any of that. And it seems like the cyborg really should have been doing more than hanging around the desert for all that time. With it's computerized brain it should have been able to think of a way to shoot his enemy without civilian damage. And also with the self destruct thing going off I couldn't help thinking, 'hmm they'll be using that again later on'. I dunno, I found the whole episode kind of dull.

Next week however, looks fantastic.
