It was good, I really liked it, but it doesn't hold a candle to last year's genius of a season premier. Why would it do better? >.>

I think there was an element of it being 11 months since the last season finished, so people missed it more, and also because it's not a two-part story, that made it more accessible to people. I have no issue with two parters, but it must be frustrating for people who don't watch regularly to get to the end of something and realise it's not finishing this week.
