It was swapped in the running order with "Curse of the Black Spot," so that's supposedly why there are no River references in it, but it seems to me they could have got rid of that scene at the end with the nursery rhyme and put in a couple of lines about River instead. Especially since this episode is dealing with themes around parenting and that.
