I now have internet so now I can squee. I actually enjoyed this episode. I liked that they were stuck in the dolls house. I liked the slow clues to where they were. I loved some of the effects like the speed of the lift going down with Amy and Rory trapped in it. I liked the tone and feel of the first half. It felt claustrophobic and creepy, but unfortunately it lost that about halfway through. And I liked the concept that the kid was a cuckoo from outer space.
I liked the dolls at first, but at some point they became less scary. I think they could have done with moving in a more creaky doll-like way instead of having fully working human joints that made it too obvious they were people dressed up and not terrifying soul-stealing dolls.
What niggled me though was after all the plots surrounding River. And the significance of who she is, not just to Amy and Rory as their child, but to the Doctor too. Was that she wasn't mentioned once. I think all it need was a passing comment about her. "Ho hum, I wonder what she's up to OH SHIT A GIANT DOLL." Or something.
