I'm sticking to LJ through thick and thin. It's a stubbornness thing. :-P

(Also because I hate change. Hehe!)

I know, if I hear how wonderful DreamWidth is one more time...I'll puke. I've been on LJ for 6 years and I don't feel like moving anywhere...plus, LJ is working fine now.

Yeah, I don't particularly want to move from LJ for any reason, but it's getting to be a recurring theme now that I try to post something to this community and LJ won't let me because it's having one of its random fits of being temperamental. Ideally, I would rather save my self the effort of re-establishing this community elsewhere but I like the idea of having another option if LJ is being awkward.

Most of the time I love LJ, so I'd hate to see this comm close!

You could make a back up comm on DW incase LJ is playing up during/straight after a new episode so we could still have discussions? It's up to you if you think it's worth it :)

I'm going to look into doing that back up comm thing, so far I'm finding it's not as straight-forward with communities as it is with individual journals.

I'd recommend making a comm on DreamWidth and crossposting to this one from there. DW has been 100% reliable in the time I've been there and importing all your LJ stuff is a snap, as is crossposting. Folks would be able to follow from either place but posting could continue whenever LJ was having another of their fits of uselessness.

I had a look at doing that a couple of weeks ago, it seems to be easy enough in the case of individual journals but I couldn't figure out how to do it with communities. I'm sure there will be a way though, so I'll have another go at figuring it out.

So long as I'm not forced to switch to the new version of friends list, I'm game for sticking to LJ...but with the new one I might just migrate to dw.

Yes, I've been resisting switching over to the new version, although the comm itself looks a little weird since LJ started changing stuff around.
